About Sandra
I have worked with the public for over 35 years in a variety of different sectors, and throughout that time I always seemed to attract people to me that needed help in working through their problems and issues. (although friends always said that I just liked fixing everyone)
I was married very young and have six boys, one of whom is mentally handicapped. So I have some knowledge of life's ups and downs.
Over the last 20 years, I have trained in 12 different modalities so I can help others when they need to clear blocks in their life.
I am still learning to this day as scientists, visionaries, and scholars find new ways to connect our bodies and minds to create and live the healthy life that we all want free from guilt, fear, regrets, struggle, stress, anxiety & depression.
What a therapy session looks like
We start by just talking and getting to know each other, I may use NLP and CBT to start changing the way the client may think or perceive certain events, I can not change your past but I can help to change the way you feel about any past experiences that still provoke negative feelings of guilt, anger, fear, anxiety, stress or embarrassment. and I would normally, with the client's permission, move onto kinetic shift or hypnotherapy to help release fear, anxiety, or stress before starting to rebuild the client's self-belief, self-worth & self-confidence and give them back their power.

After I have helped the client regain their power we can if they wish, move onto Motivation coaching by making plans and goals to take them forward into their new happy fulfilled VISION-created future with me gently guiding them forward.
We sometimes all need a little push through the transitional stages of our life into our next dream.

Every transition will take you out of your comfort zone, even a great transition like moving from a small house into your ideal house will be uncomfortable for a while, you have to pack all the boxes, arrange a removal van, and unpack at the other end. all before you are back in your comfort zone.
Or as Lao Tsu once said, A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.

What type of therapy I practice
I use a combination of therapies depending on what I feel the client needs. I don’t have to be told about the problem/issue, it just makes it quicker if I do but some issues are just too painful to talk about, and that’s ok.
It's not uncommon for the client to have no conscious awareness of the reason behind their inability to be happy and move forward. This is why it is often really helpful to get some history if the client is happy to tell me.
This enables me to get to know the client better and I will often pick up on issues that they may not even realize they have, just by listening to the way they reiterate past events.
People often have problems from their childhood or teenage years that are linked to the problems and issues that bring them to me, without them ever realizing the connection.

How does hypnotherapy help
I find hypnotherapy to be unrivaled and unsurpassed in quickly dealing with emotional or physical trauma or any re-occurring life experiences that block progress. It also binds together the processes we use in all of the other therapies to anchor the new positive belief systems.
What sort of people do I usually see?
A majority of my clients suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress.
Although relationship issues, both same, mixed-sex partnerships or family relationships are becoming more and more common, with everyone looking for help in reconnecting and saving their relationships.
Also, people suffering from PTSD from past trauma. among these are people who have been involved in a serious car accident or some form of child abuse.
What do I like about being a therapist?
It is a wonderful feeling when I just know, I have helped someone turn the corner and start looking forward instead of looking inward or backward.
What do I like less about my work?
The fact that I have to charge, I would love to do free sessions all the time but I have bills like everyone else, and I have been taught that there has to be an exchange of some kind to satisfy our human innate needs.
